About AGESIC
The Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Knowledge Society (AGESIC) Its mission is to lead the strategy for implementing the country's Digital Government and to promote the Information and Knowledge Society by promoting the inclusion of digital practices for citizens and strengthening skills in the use of technologies.
In order to consolidate the multi-channel strategy of Citizen Services, promoting digital transformation in an inclusive and sustainable way, support was given to Ministry of Education and Culture so that people can digitally obtain some of the documents most frequently requested.

Challenges & Solutions
CHALLENGE
As part of its digital transformation process and with the aim of bringing e-Government closer to citizens In Uruguay, a solution was required that would allow citizens to quickly consult some of the most frequently requested documents in state transactions, such as birth, marriage, death and recognition certificates.
SOLUTION
It was enabled WhatsApp as a communication channel and it is automated the process of obtaining digital records issued by the General Directorate of Civil Status Registry.
We integrate WittySuite to your management system, and together we develop the Service for requesting digital records from the Civil Registry of Uruguay, where any citizen can request birth, marriage, death and recognition certificates through WhatsApp (091 365 724) independently and at any time of the year, interacting easily with a bot.
If the requested record is not available in digital format, the bot provides assistance to request the traditional paper record via the web or in person.
