WhatsApp has started testing a new feature for businesses that will make contact with their customers easier and safer 👇
Whatsapp Business Directory
This is an official directory of registered companies, which your clients can access within WhatsApp through a new tab, “Companies”, where they can write a name or keyword related to the business they are looking for 🔍
Once the business in question is located, they will simply click on the name to open a chat where they can start a conversation directly with those in charge of the business account, without having to save the phone number among the contacts 📱
This will allow the person to quickly start a conversation, ask questions, receive help, or obtain information about a product or service quickly and efficiently; as long as on the other end there is a company prepared to handle these requests and provide a good experience 💪
WhatsApp has begun testing this feature in Mexico and Colombia, but will soon expand to the rest of the region.
