Challenges & Solutions

FIRST CHALLENGE

Aliaxis used a traditional telephone network and had a proprietary Avaya solution. It needed a solution that would allow it to optimize its communications on a continental level, as the demand generated by its expansion grew. All this, making the most of its infrastructure and significantly reducing costs.

AIM

Make the company's global communication more efficient. Eliminate the diversity of devices and applications when generating interactions within the organization. Reduce unnecessary fixed costs in communications.

SOLUTION

We provide a unified communications system for the entire corporation in Latin America through 3CX IP telephony. SIP Trunk services were installed, outgoing through the most economical option (GSM-GSM / international VoIP providers and intercompany through internals). 3CX IP technology allowed the expansion of branches and users quickly, safely and without extra costs. Today, the company's areas benefit from having mobile internals, a call-center module, messaging and web videoconferencing on the same platform.

Now the Aliaxis team doesn't have to know where people are to get in touch with them. They don't need to know if they're at their desk, at a machine, or if they need to call their cell phone. They have a single point of contact that makes everyone accessible, anytime, anywhere.

SECOND CHALLENGE

Reduce costs in management, supervision and maintenance of your telephone network, ensuring constant service without interruptions.

SOLUTION

The solution we deployed has an automatic backup system and failover capability. It includes an additional standby license for use on secondary equipment. This allows for the use of built-in failover (high availability), meaning that it is not necessary to purchase 2 separate licenses to have the central replicated on a second machine.


THIRD CHALLENGE

In each country, Aliaxis has large industries with a high number of internal employees. This posed a problem for the IT department, which, in addition to looking after the industrial equipment, also had to look after the telephony and its wiring.

AIM

Free the IT team from telephone incidents.

SOLUTION

We made it possible for the IT department to forget about PBX administration, as 3CX does not require complex administration and has a very intuitive interface. Lines and extensions can also be added easily, and there is no additional charge or license fee. Being VOIP technology, the data and wireless network is sufficient, freeing you from telephone wiring.


FOURTH CHALLENGE

Aliaxis uses Microsoft Teams as a complementary communication tool, but it did not allow calls outside the organization. In 2020, due to the pandemic, with the increase in remote workers, it was essential to find a solution.
